Ticktum has a very high opinion of himself. From his comments in the media this week he is clearly - perhaps understandably - aggrieved at not being in F1 and seems to believe that he is better than at least two thirds of those who are.

But that's nothing new from a racing driver, or for that matter top line sports egotist, let's face it you have to have that kind of confidence in yourself in that kind of environment otherwise you'd get eaten up, also there are very few top line sports people who are also nice people, that I can see, not that I know any of them.

I know a few really nice racing drivers including some who have driven in F1, Indycars and NASCAR craftsman trucks, but I also know - or rather, should I say knew - a few who were complete berks who didn't think twice about messing people around. Let's just say that I burned a few bridges in those instances, but bloody hell, it was satisfying to say exactly what I thought.
But yes, the very best tend to be self-centred twerps.
Dan Ticktum got a 2 year ban for deliberately crashing into Ricky Collard by way of revenge during a Formula Ford race.

The Berlin Formula E race was bonkers. It was just like watching a scratch race on a velodrome.

BTCC meeting from Donington was brilliant. Was royally entertained.
The Formula E race from Berlin was less good than Saturday's race, mainly because everyone learned from their mistakes. Next race in a fortnight should be good, they're on the full Monaco GP circuit.
