The petulant teenager is throwing his dummy around again, he didn't win so the whole thing needs to be scrapped, he's also peeved that Russell didn't yield when it was clear that he didn't want to be overtaken.

He didn't seem impressed by the hole in his sidepod left by their contact. ^_^ I like Russell, he doesn't seem to be bothered about who he is racing he'll just have a go no matter who's feathers he ruffles.

Ooooh, we're on page 221!

That definitely calls for a bit of celebration. Can't be on page 221 and not have some luscious Warwickness courtesy of Frank Love & retrostox

Suspect he thinks he's Moses reincarnated, and expects the Red Sea, sorry, the whole grid, to part in front of him.

I've always maintained that he'd get eaten alive if he was thrown into the middle of the BTCC grid. Ash Sutton, Ting and Jake Hill would give him a lesson he'll never forget.

Well I watched the F1 on Channel 4 last night. I thought that it was all pointless and a waste!
The snippets of the new qualifying were very short and confusing and just allowed the presenters to talk more .
The sprint race itself was too short to achieve much apart from using more fuel , tyres and even engines , plus more work for the mechanics .
Basically I thought it was boring and won't bother watching any more of those events .

I watched it live, I like the sprint qualifying set up, Norris running out of tyres so he couldn't take part in the last part, I liked the sprint race, Russell having a good go at Verstappen from the line, Verstappen hanging on round the outside because he didn't want Russell to have the place then taking it back later in the race, its not as bonkers as the sprint races in the MOTO GP can be but it was entertaining.

I watched it live and it was money , lots of money for Liberty Media and the FIA. But it was rubbish to watch and stank of 'the show'

I they have to have a sprint race they should make it for the reserve drivers, the desperately need seat time and racing experience due to the lack of testing . Also a reserves competition would help to introduce the star drivers of the future to the public.

If you qualify 15th plus in the sprint race and the result has no bearing on Sundays race and the chances getting top 8 for points is miniscule,Why would you bother running put extra strain on the engine and gearbox when you have a limited supply each year ,not to mention additional costs for the lower budget teams

Verstappen moans about the sprint format, Damon Hill brands him a sore loser.

Hamilton moans about the sprint format, does so on the same day, and finishes lower than Verstappen, Hill says not a word.

This is why I can't stand pundits, and some of the worst are the has-beens. I'm interested in the racing, not what some man with an odd beard and strangely shaped head thinks.
