What? No Johnnie Walker on radio 2 this afternoon? Replaced by yet more sychophantic nonsense about the now departed D of E.. This is getting really silly now. Give it a rest until his funeral, then get that over and done with, and let us get back to normal. As the man himself would probably have wished.

It's a pretty nice bike.

:okay:

Nice, old school stem, pedals and a kick stand. Don’t see that very often.

Is it just me getting a bit confused by the use of "to pass" as a euphemism for "to die". For years the euphemistic term was to "pass away". Dropping the "away" and leaving just "pass" leaves me thinking of the euphemism for "to excrete".

And as for "stay home" rather than "stay at home". Don't get me started. I'm not sure what the technical term is for these little modifiers but they see to be endangered. They look like prepositions but that may not be what their role is here. Adverbial somethings maybe?

In a sort of related question, in the coverage I've frequently heard him called HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh when I would have thought it should be HRH Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh. Is there any reason for this, or just some sort of mistake?

Just a mistake, your version is correct.

Slightly off topic, but this is just absurd...
