@Louch There are a few kicking about but this was my run last year.

My old stomping grounds. The Adrochrig is a nice wee climb, went up there last year for the first time since 2008, it's like a completely different place.

@Edwardoka The Ardochrig wasn't too bad but it's also the route for the 15 mile family run so if you don't get by it in time you're stuck behind folks wavering over the whole road.

I find the climb up to Glassford the worst - last year was windy and I was ready for chucking it. Feed station at Glassford made up for it :-)

Thanks. We've not bought the first bike yet but, I've been looking since the first scan, its never too early to make a short list.
... and there was me thinking you already knew 'how to go a bike' ...

GONNAE STOP RAINING, PLEASE!!!

I have been out on the bike a handful of times since the beginning of December, and haven't really enjoyed it. This being simply because I don't find any outdoor activities to be much fun in the rain. And rain it has done pretty much every day here for about 2 months now. Am I alone in being totally fed up with it? Or is the Costa Clyde getting more than it's fair share? Forecast for the weekend is MORE RAIN, and plenty of it. Even today, which was forecast as light showers has turned out to be showers with no gap between them! Why did I choose to live in the wettest greyest coldest place inhabited by humans? First person to suggest I MTFU has to sit through an episode of Eastenders, that has to be even more depressing than this weather.

And breathe.........!!
