Not surprised, wind was very bitter, and looked like gritters had been out

Caught in a hailstorm on the bike (yes, I was actually riding ) yesterday afternoon along the Silverknowes front.

Strong bitingly cold NW wind this day - though lovely and clear, bright and sunny - and warm (behind a pane of glass :okay:).

It's my 'recovery day' today ... :heat:

Same happen to me. Left the house at 8.30 in sunshine and light winds. An hour later got soaked by a rain/sleet/snow shower and the wind had picked up the NW. Planned ride shelved for another so after a quick cafe stop in Strathaven it was back home with a tailwind. Looking out now its dull and grey.
Hoping the weather improves this week so that I get a few rides in before starting my new job a week tomorrow

Friday night about 5pm the heavens opened with hailstones, was really hard to try and keep the head up and actually see where I was going, thankfully it didn't last for very long

Was alternately exposed to snow, hail and sun on Saturday's farewell-to-Carse-and-Sidlaws ride. Forgot my gloves so had lobster hands by the end

Finding it really hard to come to terms with the fact that I'm moving house tomorrow... :surrender:

...and you have time to chat about it? I'm impressed.
Oh how I wish that my problem was that I was so organised that I had time to chat!
Anyone on here can tell you that my preferred method for doing anything is wait until the very last microsecond and then panic :B) (I once rode to a CC tour on the wrong bike, arriving after dark while everyone else was sitting down to dinner )

I'm following the 20/10 system (work for 20 minutes, rest for 10 minutes, then work on something else for 20 minutes etc) to stop me from having a fullblown meltdown
It seems to work for me because I get to see general progress rather than overwhelming myself with the volume of work still to be done.
