Hahahaha
Abi didn't get me, left work at 5.30 with the ubiquitous waterproofs on, just in case, stayed dry till I got home: the minute I did put the bike indoors, it started peeing it down ^_^
You are unbelievable! If you fell into a bucket of sh!te you would come out smelling of roses (quaint Scottish phrase relating to one's good fortune BTW ;)). Enjoy the headwind tomorrow if you're heading back to the SECC though .

Off tomorrow ^_^
Don't you come near Glasgow on Saturday, please: I'm planning to take some kids for a bike ride!

Yesterday m'colleague said that one of his friends (who lives 100 yards away from me) told him that there was a river outside his house.
So naturally I panicked and sped home to move all my belongings to higher ground. Roads wet and entry to village flooded but no risk of my house flooding, so going to Glasgow tonight (sans velo :O)

@Edwardoka surely coming to Glasgow was like going from a river to a lake?
There are waterlogged streets allover here: leaves were not cleaned from gutters, as usual. I don't mind when I'm on the bike, wearing the right gear, but as a pedestrian car spray is really annoying.

Both dreading and looking forward to Thursday.
Dreading because
a) Overnighting in airports SUCKS
b) I do not speak passable Spanish (other than "Un caffe con Leche por favor" "Tu papel es importante" and "¿Cómo puedo llegar a la cima del volcán?")
c) I am the very very worst at Logistics
d) ¡Ayuadame! Estoy atrapado en una cueva!
Looking forward because a) :bicycle: b):sun: c) d):sun: e) :hungry: f) (Well, the forum stripped out my volcano emoji. Thanks forum)

I can't really cast aspersions after my 2 month hiatus, but I think the best way for you to get your mojo back is:

...............or wtfu in my case. Lol. If my back and legs will stand it, I am actually thinking of doing more jogging rather than cycling over the winter months. Safer, build up a heat quicker and don't really need to stay out as long for a decent workout. Will see how the winter pans out weatherwise.

I haven't liked 'cos I can't cope with another Ed rant - however have a grand old time, try not to die but make sure to take lots of pictures of you in the process of dying.

These two are unrelated, good moderator sir.
I'm dreading the journey because I am ill-prepared, not because I'm lacking in Rule 5.

I have recently M'd TFU, by riding a ton* after the best part of 2 months off the bike!

*96 miles of which were after an Ed-ground collision.

Good day to you sir!
