It's an honourable profession, and even better to know that you will look out for cyclists, and share that mindset with your fellow trainees. :okay:

Defo, I'll be pulling over any tWat driver I see not giving enough room to all cyclists lol

I had an interesting encounter on the Sheriffhall Roundabout this morning in rush hour. Exiting the 'roundabout' heading towards Dalkeith, in the centre of the inside lane, some idiot tried to undertake me, then leans on his horn, and then can't get past me on the outside for a few metres, and calls me a $%^#$%^ $%^#%^ on the ways past. I just shouted back at him. Looked back and the bus driver behind just shook his head.

I've negotiated Sherifhhall about 8 times in the last week, and it's usually fine.

There is always one idiot

Well, my new (to me) Peugeot single speed is giving me a few problems... The first couple of rides seemed okay but I noticed the front brake was sticking on, so thought I would switch them for the old set off my dead T3. Unfortunately they aren't compatible as the reach is too short and I can't seem to get them back how they were. Some of the bolts are a bit rusted and I'm not sure if I should get Rig to fix them or just order a new set I saw on ebay for £18. (I might just buy them anyway to have a spare set...) Then today one of the new pedals I had fitted came loose and it looks like guard the thread is gubbed on the crank :banghead: To add insult to injury, the front mudguard came loose yesterday, but at least that was easy to fix!

Would spacers on the brake blocks help? My swissstop came with them but I don't use them

What reach are you looking for?
I have a set of Weinmann type 500 which may be about the period...
