Visited Scotland's highest village today, road to and from it was as pretty as any I have seen. Plan to ride it went out the window when I could barely get car door open never mind cycle in it

Yeah the area is rather pretty. Did you approach it from the M74 or the A76? I've only ever ridden it from the Sanquhar side, nice downhill to Elvanfoot / Abington.

One does not simply drive through Mordor. I do rather like the Drumlanrig sportive, would like to give it a bash again since I failed first time.
