Yeah the area is rather pretty. Did you approach it from the M74 or the A76? I've only ever ridden it from the Sanquhar side, nice downhill to Elvanfoot / Abington.Visited Scotland's highest village today, road to and from it was as pretty as any I have seen. Plan to ride it went out the window when I could barely get car door open never mind cycle in it
