You're only going to overtake me because I've done my knee in, ya fair weather cyclist. Also, compare time in saddle, miles ridden, and elevation gain.
Your knees been kaput for a weekend. Too much elevation too soon, and now you are done in. Follow my lead kid and you will be alright  on track to peak at month end as planned from February :bicycle:

My knee went awry because I was doing a hill rep in a big gear, not because I've been doing too much climbing.
In any case I look forward to the photos of you pushing your bike up the first of three pistes. ;)
And also look forward to an athlete at his peak getting effortlessly dropped by a guy with a shonky knee :okay:

Haven't pushed a bike up a hill in over two years, don't intend on starting now.i expect a guy with a shonky knee "missing a train" , "sleeping in" or "carrying his laptop"

Has anyone used hooked on cycling in Bathgate, and if so what did you think?
Very good bike shop for both sales and repairs. I have bought 2 frames from them and had the subsequent bike builds done as well. No issues what so ever with quality and cost of work. Nick and Jon are both very knowledgeable about bikes and all aspects of bike maintenance/repair

Stretching continues apace. Hoping to be back doing some low-intensity high-cadence stuff by the end of the week, but need to balance that with the more pressing need to not make it worse, and to ensure that my leg isn't bowing inwards at the top of the pedal stroke like it was after my knee gave way :headshake:

It's a bike shop, it's fitting services seem to cost far less than other shops, so looking for opinions on what you get for money
why do you need a bike fit?
