My new steed .....
Very nice indeed, but if I could just draw your attention to Rule 26.......
@McBrian as you're a east Fife man are you able to tell me if the road below is open, i've went to cycle it a few times but at the junction in Pitscottie they have signs up saying the road is shut but looking at the 2015 leader board on strava it seems folk are cycling the road, it a good climb and i need to do it to set a better time on it..

Chapeau, kudos and all that!Feeling chuffed as I have done my first 400km Audax . The Auld Alliance. Started in the rain at 9pm last night, and it rained until 7.30 this morning. Coped with that ok - all about the right layers. Mentally it was pretty tough, but I've had harder times on sportives and shorter Audaxes - it's all in the mind.
Can't even get my head round sitting on a bike for that length of time I'm afraid. 36 miles in pouring rain this morning was more than enough.I don't think I have done many 400 km weeks never mind days
Can't even get my head round going out my front door in this rain, never mind cycling 36 miles! As for 400km; that's a week touring in my book . I take my hat off to all you non-wimp FWC's .Can't even get my head round sitting on a bike for that length of time I'm afraid. 36 miles in pouring rain this morning was more than enough.
I like my good old miles, feet, inches, stones, pounds, pints, etc. I still occasionally convert the petrol back to price per gallon too.And my veloviewer sig should be fixed, it was showing my miles as km
Nice bike . But I'd be having a word with the architect who thought it would be a good idea to put your door 2 feet up the wall with a ledge in front of it!
