If it's a steady clicking noise, it could well be the sound of the freehub - some make that clicking (Campag especially), others do not. Can be useful to make peds or other cyclepath users aware of your approach.

There is a normal steady clicking noise - this is different.

My first bike is sitting doing nothing in shed at my folks. In two minds as to giving it away, or breaking it down and keeping the frame for a future project.....ideally I need a two bedroom flat or a garage if I wanted to keep two bikes here
I'm not a sentimental person, having sold almost everything I owned, but I very seriously regret leaving my first bike in the old shed when we left to cycle around what turned out to only be Europe. I would love to know if she is still there and if I could have her back, but have no way of finding out short of driving 200 miles and knocking on a strangers door and asking them...

What I'm saying is hang on to it...

Police have launched a crackdown after a wave of bicycle thefts in Stirling and Clackmannanshire.

More than 70 bikes have been stolen in the area since the start of March, with many being sold on locally for a fraction of their worth.

One bike recovered by police was valued at £2,500, but had been sold for £20.

Officers raided a number of properties in the Raploch area of Stirling on Friday, recovering several bikes, and charged four men with various offences.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "It will be obvious to anyone being offered these bikes, by virtue of their sale price, that they are stolen and it is an offence to knowingly purchase stolen property.

"In times of austerity, it may be tempting to accept a 'rogue's bargain', however the impact of the initial theft on the victim is significant.

"Local residents have had their sheds broken into and their homes targeted by those responsible for the thefts, and the subsequent sale of the bikes. No 'bargain' can justify this, and those who buy stolen property from these individuals only encourage them to commit further crime."

Won't go wrong with it, love the colour scheme more than my 2014 version which is more white. Can't believe it's 150 less now with the new 11 speed 105, cube obviously dont like making profits.

Bike in for service today, feel bad leaving it in fife overnight. Hope the other cubes are nice to her.

Bike Shop Scotland? ;)
