N+1 :bicycle::wub::hyper:

Only went for a short run yesterday as I was going out in the evening, but the signs are good! There was a slight tailwind which obviously helps but the difference to the T5 in terms of handling, shifting and how it rolls along the road is like night and day... lots of fun! ^_^
The weather has turned for the worse exactly since you got N+1 :whistle:

2 years since my first cyclechat ride nearly ended me, today I done 89 miles just for fun. When does the weight loss start?!?

Next Saturday seems a long way away!

Looks good - lumpy and scenic which is what I presume you want. As well as Cleish you've also got Cadger's Brae after Freuchie which is short but a bit of a bugger as steep. If you wanted more hills and nice views you could add in the Nydie Climb (left at Pitscottie) which will give you nice views of the Eden estuary then leads onto the Stratkiness High Road into St Andrews. The obvious route was closed last time I was up there but there's a way round if your interested.

Taking the Cube into Dales on Saturday to hopefully calm my concerns about the size (the frame is a 58 and I'm 184 cm which is just on the cusp between the 58/60)... I felt a little close to the handlebars on the ride on Monday and had a bit of tightness in my triceps by the end, so want to check everything is ok with my position on the bike...

Have you compared distance from front of saddle to bars with last bike? Assuming that fitted ok.

on a serious note it is a compact bike set up, so you will feel closer, it felt very different to when I rode the board an which now feels like I'm cycling on a shopping trolley.
