That must have been the section on Saturday I thought I was going to wreck my bike and/or my other valuables!
Better coming back that way , saves your valuables getting damaged

I'd seen that but I've already signed up for the Ullapool MorJust had this event flagged up to me by a mate who works in the roads dept in Perth:

Looks like some pretty challenging routes, though I can't see prices from work pc (and I've no stake in it, just said I would highlight it) - @Edwardoka @Pedrosanchezo local to you guys...
this is the Tak ma doonIf I was to get to the Tak Me Doon road, would I turn left after that really potholed section after (during?) the Crow Road rather than right towards Fintry?
Cause it's bloody hard I imagine ! Strange attraction cyclists have with discomfort
If nice day just go up to the carpark, stop, and enjoy the viewNot yet, on my next month targets. Surprised you have went that far west

There's more satisfaction to be had from cresting the top of a tough climb than anything else on a bike... and the sensation of speed on the descent is a pretty good reward! You don't get a fast descent on the Tak though.I'll need to give that a bash. I play golf at Kilsyth so every weekend at some stage watch the poor souls cycle up the road then go back down at dangerous speeds! Why's it such a popular route?
Or head to pedal on parliamentI might try it on Saturday. Doubles comp at golf so bugger that!
