The dam in Pitlochry is definitely worth visiting.
There is a really good cafe in Kinlochrannoch as well which is worth saying hello to, as is the view down loch Rannoch itself and don't forget the frog rock...

Plus I love going to Rannoch station. Nothing there but it is still a lovely journey up to it

Dunno, but there is a Boat hire place upstream of the dam with a café and ducks you can feed.
Pitlochry is amazing:rolleyes:.

I'm actually looking forward to going to that area, as I haven't visited since I was a child! I'll have my camera with me and I love being outside, so I think it's a win-win for me, even if I don't take the MTB!
