@Brandane did you go for a wee sleep this afternoon? 'tis the best way to stay awake all night. That and a double espresso macchiato at around 4am.
I'm immune to coffee now
Have a safe journey: from one agency worker to another I must tell you that if sometimes you say NO to job offers you are appreciated more in the long run.
Been lazing around on the couch for hours but no proper sleep . Won't be leaving Glasgow until about 10pm, get to Manchester about 2.30. Hopefully away again by about 4, back at Glasgow 8.30am. That's the plan anyway, but I have a habit of seeing plans go horribly wrong!

I know what you mean about knocking back work, and I do that regularly. It's been busy recently and they would have us out 5/6 days per week if we wanted. I'm only after part time work and keep having to remind them! Been doing 4 day weeks recently as they've been struggling for cover, but after New Year I won't be doing as much. It will probably go very quiet anyway.

Glasgow guys and girls, I've found out something today: if you go to the Doctor's, ask for a Glasgow Club referral, you then get the Glasgow Club unlimited membership for £ 27 a months instead of £ 37, all pools, gyms, classes.
You need to have a health problem that requires exercise, like back/joints problems.

Just wanted to say Happy Christmas to all the CC Ecosse family (old and new), hope you all have a great festive season and get lots of cycling related presents - and thanks for all your help, support, guidance, friendship and love throughout the year.

I survived the night shift! Quite enjoyed the run down, but was struggling with the body clock on the run back north. Was back in Glasgow for 7.45.
They just phoned and asked if I can do the same run on Saturday, so I remembered @Pat "5mph" 's advice and knocked it back. Will still be at my brother's place on Friday night, and didn't fancy a night shift on Saturday. If the agency never call me again, Pat is to blame .

Much as you're a top bloke and all that, I'll stick with the help, support, guidance and friendship bit. What happened in Islay stays in Islay* !

@Col5632 - here is to another MCL race next year... :boxing:. I think it's safe to say now that you won't catch me this year, even if you are heading out the door now and not getting off the bike until the Bells  (not to be mixed up with the Belles :girl:)...
@Fubar is getting quite close though ...
