Walk? There is more ice on the pavements here than on the roads
I'm a big wean..
I play 'slides'
(it was the back roads)

Did you get the slide to that 'polished' look. The more polished a slide is, the better it is.:becool:
I'm a bit too old to spending time getting it just right...
It would draw attention like 'Mum why is that old guy sliding?'
plus I occasionally throw grit down in winter to make pavements and paths safe for pedestrians as part of my job...
My youngest flatly refuses to go sledging with me..

She is 21
Definitely no ice this morning. 10C when I left the house at 6 for my cycle to work. Roasting by the time I got here
Oh aye, its mild out there so I made up for yesterday:thumbsup:

I know there's a lot of "snow" in Port Glasgow, but it's not the type you would really go sledging on .
One wouldn't know

Arghhhh. Just agreed to do a night shift tonight, drive to Manchester airport and back (to Glasgow airport). Does Red Bull work?. The smell of the stuff puts me off xx(.
Not a fan of night shift but since its Christmas, and a one off .....

Any advantage gained by caffeine intake would be cancelled out by having to stop at every service area between Glasgow and Manchester. I am of a certain age now.........
There's your answer then
Pro-plus has a certain efficacy without the attendant increase in other needs. Not that I'm advocating drowsy driving or using stimulants, mind.

@Brandane did you go for a wee sleep this afternoon? 'tis the best way to stay awake all night. That and a double espresso macchiato at around 4am.
I'm immune to coffee now
Have a safe journey: from one agency worker to another I must tell you that if sometimes you say NO to job offers you are appreciated more in the long run.
