Hi T, I'm still alive....i know mountain biking
It was my backup steed and not very healthy but thought i'd spotted a 10 speed conversion almost as cheap as staying 7 speed. To good to be true tho' Found 9 speed conversion now that's hopefully cheaper than staying with 7sp

5 speed is plenty for in and around Glasgow

Hi Pat, it's an old screw on freewheel and similar price to swap in new 10sp compatable wheel, i just happen to have on shelf, with 9speed stuff than staying 7

There is a GoBike ride leaving from Bells Bridge tomorrow at 10, only about 30 miles, pub break in between: you coming?
Would be a gentle ride for you, we are all oldies

Hmmm not really....using a wrist brace and 15-20 mins i'm looking for painkillers! I'm all softcore these days....

'like' your sense of humour, but 'seriously dislike' that your wrist isn't getting any better! Having some 4-letter thoughts about that driver .

Tbh it's my shoulder and back that's creating most problems. Brace allows me to rest wrist on top of bars for balance and protects from jarring. Not big issue as the rear brake doesn't work anyway

One doesn't get wrist/shoulder/back nor neck issues on a sofabike

Can't really advice on what's to be done to help you, apart from attending the Doc regularly.
There has been too many CChatters injured lately

Yip all the top riders going down with shoulder injuries of late....

Of all the cyclists I know, CC Ecosse seem to have the highest injury rate.
