It's actually a very pleasant climb, if these is such a thing  No real steep ramps, just a steady reasonably gentle climb. If you leave Dunning up the Path of Condie road that has a shorter but much steeper climb. Afraid to say I haven't managed it without stopping yet.
if a miles machine like you cant, then I have no Chance

Right now, I hurt. I can't make out specific places, I just hurt. 81 miles in the bag dealing with 30mph gusts.

Tough work getting to Newcastleton, then got whizzed over the top by the wind (20mins faster than my PB  ). A good wind assist around to Eaglesfield and Annan, but I made a mistake with routing and sent myself down the worst road I have ever come across. The Aremberg cobbles must be a picnic compared to what I found today :B)

Finally reached Annan, then followed 10 miles straight into the wind :heat:. I was caught up by a local rider and we had a chat for a bit which helped take my mind off it. The last 5 miles I had nothing left, it was just a case of limping home. I even had to stop less than a mile from home when I felt a bit dizzy. I probably needed to have eaten that last flapjack.

On the whole, I'm well pleased with that. I knew I should be able to do it, but that wind was something else! :wahhey::dance::bicycle:

Cycle on!

T (who just cargo-biked today, big shop & final spud-transport to the allotment, combined with further cross training; I now have blisters on my hands )
