Monday looks quite good, even if the wind is picking up again

I'm still going for the 80 miler though, It'll be a crosswind most of the way up, then I get blown up the big climb at Newcastleton, all the way over the top and all the way round to Annan. Then I have a headwind for a bit, but hey ho.

Little nephew gets his new bike tommorrow though. We have refurbed a Specialized Hotrock 20" for him, can't wait to see his face

I had a very fun "let the bike decide the route" 87 miler today, finding some new routes south of here, doubling back via Paisley, over the Erskine Bridge and then tacking the Bowling-Dumbarton-Balloch-Croftamie-Queens View-Bearsden-Kelvingrove route on as a northern loop.
Not much knee pain today, so that's good, still have the "heavy" sensation in my legs. I guess time spent in the saddle is the best way of dealing with that.

Sadly the ride's route looks a tad inappropriate :shy:

Back from a quick blast along the coast, felt like the height of spring :wahhey:, pink & white cherry blossom everywhere, all shades of young leaves, sunshine, lots of happy cyclists (and walkers) everywhere

Now for a lunch of fresh hot cross buns ... the bread maker was doing all the hard work while I was out on the bike

I'm having lunch in Kenmore. Highland Perthshire is spectacular on a day like this...
