Why does it matter if someone believes it and wears a helmet? What's the worse that's gonna happen?

We are talking the decision to wear a cycle helmet which is hardly earth shattering stuff

Australia is totally irrelevant, we are talking about the UK

If I or many others decide to wear a helmet based on the bloggers comments it's our choice so why does it matter to you what we do?

Because the misguided and ill-informed public opinion that results means that people in the street are encouraged to start shouting at innocent cyclists that have made their own decision which is bad enough in itself but then you add in the bigger social issues of continuous harassment (see my anecdote earlier in the thread) and suddenly cyclists that choose not to wear a helmet have become social pariahs and are treated with more contempt than drink drivers.

This is not right and is the reason that the people spreading this nonsense to try and force everybody to wear a helmet need to be stopped or at least have their megaphone taken away!

She's mad. She exploited a child patient and used him in her deluded campaign, she encouraged aggression on the roads and attacked cyclists for riding correctly, now she's making out she's the victim.

Why is Australia irrelevant, if the statistics were overwhelmingly positive would they also be irrelevant?

Someone named Bob posted on her facebook page that he's reported her to the HPC. Again she says she's being attacked and abused by this facebook user, but there's no evidence of this whatsoever.

More likely she took them down because the boy was identified from newspaper reports.

However she does say this:
