I thought the area looked familiar... I stayed in Llanbedr a few years back and cycled all the roads round there. I have used a couple of them in NTR since then.

Correct ! That's Rhinog Fawr in the distance. Excellent for rather rugged walking, the Rhinogs. Over to you Colin.

Wow, what a great road, I've looked at some great roads around Wales @Sea of vapours, good NTR choice, a good game.

I'll admit, that after I looked and looked around Snowdon and spent too much time, I then gave up.

And I have just realised that those mountains are the Rhinogs. [Which you have posted while I typed this.] I looked at them from the east on a mountain biking holiday 20 years ago. We stayed in a cabin at the holiday village at Bronaber, just off the A470.

So that one IS looking at Cadair Idris. I stopped there for a picnic on a ride on another Welsh cycling trip.
