It says hand wash only but I can't see an appropriate machine wash being a great problem.

A snood isn't much extra hand-washing. Haven't all cyclists got some gloves that are handwash only? No? Just me?

There seemed to be a bad batch sold by Half-odds last year, but it's not the norm. Good multitools have multifit (sloping) spoke keys on them, which makes it an easy fix.

Spare valve cores (salvaged from repurposed inner tubes) are a good addition to the Paranoid Cyclist´s Small Spares Box, which also includes things like Connex links, emergency universal mech hanger, bolts, spokes, nipples and so on. I´ve had brats at my son´s school remove them for a bit of a giggle as they do often undo without the nipple/valve wrench.

Does anyone own any Vulpine gear? What's the quality like as it isn't exactly cheap even in the sale but I don't mind paying for good quality gear.

Cheeky. But yes, had read that already, found someone had mentioned their gear is 'excellent quality' from scanning through the entirety of CC. When everything's said and done, I'm £120 now lighter because of visiting the Vulpine Sale!
