Craghoppers Kiwi Pro trousers were mentioned in the Cycling trousers, not tights thread.

Gaynor sports have them in black for £22.49.

Scwalbe marathon originals currently £15.99 in wiggle.

I am getting a pair after a run of punctures in my continental contact tyres. A piece of glass and a thorn in the other. Only about a few mm in depth both times. Disappointed by them as they only have less than 400 miles on them. I can't be doing with it so going to these which are a slight weight penalty over the vittoria rubinos I was running before.

Turns out not be a bargain. The items were squashed in transit so there is a massive fold in both tyres and twisted beads which cannot be fixed. Going to return and issue a complaint about courier.

Does anyone own any Vulpine gear? What's the quality like as it isn't exactly cheap even in the sale but I don't mind paying for good quality gear.

I see they do free returns though so should be win win.

I know Vulpine have a fantastic reputation, but my very limited experience isn't great. I have a pair of their "Gravel Shorts", which have a RRP of £65. They don't seem any better made than other, much cheaper, shorts I've owned and although they've not had a great deal of use they are wearing noticeably in the seat.

They're not bad, but even at sale prices I wouldn't rush to buy any more.

I've just bought me a Charge Ladle saddle on Amazon for £15 + £2.95 p&p... Admittedly it's white (so is the saddle it's intended to replace) but at that price it's a no-brainer to at least try it out. Only 3 left in stock though.

I see you are in london m r/s cube. Surely you can pop into one of their shops? As above, i intend to get an 8 speed chain, effectively for £2. I didn't see any minimum spend condition. Other consumable items available of course.
Forgot that i can use lcc discount, rarely use these days, so after that the 8spd chain cost me 80p. Makes missing the cycle surgery easy to bear.
