I'm not convinced by Continental tubes. The cores come out really easily!
Yeah. I've got several having bought them previously on offer from Halfords...given I'm not riding, punctures aren't currently an issue regardless. But I've lost the cores just unscrewing the valve cap to pump the tyres up...one dead tube and a new one needed!Do they? Mind you, I've already got half a dozen of Halfords own brand tubes from last time they were on offer, so it's not like I need any...

Correct. They can be very easily nipped up though with a 7mm spanner and jobs a good un.they haven't been screwed on properly in manufacture.
Yep, same experience here, or they haven't been screwed on properly in manufacture. Had a few snap as well. Michelin or Vittoria for me, or indeed B-Twin

Anyway, they (Conti tubes) are £1.309 a pop at Wiggle if you order 10 or more.
Schwalbe make the best inner tubes (and tyres) out there.
You can remove the core with the number 11 on one of theseThis. A robust thumb and index finger combo will to the job as well.
I've never been a great fan of their tubes, though had a few "free" with tyres. And to go with your lovely new Gatorskins, what better than some Continental Race Inner Tubes at just £2.99 each?
