Morvelo have a sale of up to 70%.

http://www.morvelo.com/

Also, if you're new to Morvelo, you get an extra 15% discount on the sale price, so you can get a very good superlight bib shorts and jersey set for £38.75, for the jersey, £51 for the bib shorts, plus £5 delivery.

I'm new to Morvelo, but would say to me the quality seems to rank alongside the best, it's well reviewed, and the chamois is by far the best I've experienced.

Is that from Halfords? I have ordered some veloce components and wasnt sure about the Miche cassette as i read a few bad reviews, so i would be interested in hearing how you find it compared to the campagnolo?

I ended up returning it and going for Campag with my LBS. When I turned up to pick it up, it was in an envelope, with bits all over the place. After seeing the Halfords 'bike mechanic', re-assemble it, I really didn't have any confidence that it had been done correctly, I wasn't even quite sure all the spacers were present and correct. It didn't look bad, and if I'd just ordered it and had it fitted though a decent bike shop, I might have been very happy with it, or if I'd been able to find decent instructions online as to exact assembly.

Campag more than twice the price (£75), but what price peace of mind?

Dunno if it helps but Miche manufacture for Campag and other companies. I guess they may do different quality for different brands.

Anyone wanting the basic Garmin 25 would be well advised to keep a look out at their local Aldi. They had them on offer a while ago (£80, I think) and any left over are going at a discount. I saw one in Shrewsbury yesterday for £59.99. (The one up by Harlescott.)

Maybe not the greatest bargain, but at lidl from august 1, for anyone wanting to stock up on rechargeables:

Seem decent to me if using a decent charger like the technoline - for lights and the garmin - other sizes available.

Anyone want a super high end Giant MTB for 60% off? Bikesy's just shown up a XTC Advanced SL from £6000 down to £2400 at CRC
Someone's going to get a race ready cracker there for peanuts.

Anyone tempted to have a go with road shoes, Wiggle have their entry level DHB shoes at a penny under £25 (don't forget to factor in cleats/pedals)
Available in sizes 37 and then from 43-48 , so effectively anyone a real size 8 and up

Just received this jacket today for £30 reduced from £59.99 , good fit , i`m a 34 waist and 44,45 chest so I went for the XL in blue the jacket is not baggy but there is room for a mid weight base underneath . It has side vents rather than pit zips, napoleon pocket , mesh lined ,nice warm lined adjustable collar , velcro wrist fasteners. It covers my bottom at the back and is around groin area just below the hips at the front so a good cut..

I also ordered a DHB eq2.5 on offer at £30 reduced from £60 ,but although the jacket is very nice and well made the sizing is ridiculous , I ordered a XL & XXL in it , they were both too tight and I really couldn`t see the difference in size they are also very short at the front coming to just around or above the belly button. Wiggle puts them as regular cut but they certainly don`t seem to be , they are a more athletic cut. If it fits you then it is a very nice jacket
