Found a Bargain? Do Tell.

Just bought a Campag compatible Miche Primato cassette to help me up hills (12-29 instead of my current 12-25!). I was delighted with the price, £40.79 then when I clicked to check out it knocked another fiver off, due to another promotion. I'm presuming I'll also be able to get my BC 10% when I pick up in store too! so should be just over £30, bit better than the £70 plus I was dreading for Campag original cassette! Now question is, should I replace chain at the same time! (I know, check for stretch, but I hardly know what a spanner is, let alone how to fasten a screw with it!).

Is that from Halfords? I have ordered some veloce components and wasnt sure about the Miche cassette as i read a few bad reviews, so i would be interested in hearing how you find it compared to the campagnolo?

mods may put this into a different thread but how many miles has the chain done. less than a 1000 keep. more than 3000 buy new

Yes, Halfords. I suspect I'm such a philistine, I'll probably not notice a difference. Except if it's set up properly, it'll be a big improvement compared to what I have now, and if I can ascend a hill without blowing up, I'll be overt' moon!
