in my lidl today (maybe yours!?)
i would put money on these being the same lenses as glasses 3 or 4 times the price (polycarbonate, scratch resistent, anti fog)
the frame is cheapy but they are comfortable.

I got simular from Aldi today for £3.99.Also got 4 cans of cider for £1.85 in lidl so that was my bargains for the day.

Ta for the tip. Had a look the other day. You may well be right about the lenses - a prog on bbc confirmed what i had long suspected, that euro standards (for as long as they last) mean that cheapo glasses can be as good as expensive ones - but i didn't like the wierd rubber stuff inside the frame. Can recommend the ones still available in aldi for a mere 3.99

is that the 'windbreaker' foam part , it detaches easily, i took it out. did look a bit weird
was out with these on yesterday and more than happy for this price

This gave me deja vu. I ripped the windbreaker out of a pair years ago. They were fine without.

Anyone looking for a cheap Garmin, my friend Marc has reliably informed me that the Edge 25 (https://www.aldi.co.uk/p/70748/0) (http://www.wiggle.co.uk/garmin-edge-25-gps-cycle-computer/) is retailing in Aldi for £90, but when you get to the tills are scanning at £60, he got his from the Swinnow/Bramley store, but you have to ask for them as they're in the back of store

1. They only deliver where they retail. Keeping things simple like that is how they keep sh*t cheap.
2. It's sold out on the website, so even if they did deliver, you still wouldn't get it.

There were two Garmin 25's reduced in out local Aldi - I thought bargain, then saw sense as I'm only using my 705 at the minute as the 20 is no no longer used for commutes.
