Shoes have gone up a lot since last year. If they are lighter than last years model will still be worthwhile.

Wireless computer now looks distinctly overpriced despite the addition of an altimeter!

Gilet (windproof front/mesh back) might be a good bet.

I think the shoes were about the same price BUT they did not sell very well so two or three weeks later were reduced to £10.

If you use Glucose to make up your energy drinks, Superdrug has been selling Glucose for £1 a box, 500grms for a few weeks now. Went in today and noticed its still same price but 3 boxes for price of 2.

3 boxes, 1kg 500grms for £2.

Walked out with 3kgs of the stuff.

I understand its not as absorbed as quick as maltodextrin and you can only make it up to about 9% solution maximum otherwise it becomes harder to absorb into the system but I have never found a problem with the stuff and use it for just run of the mill rides.
