Have just bought a Campag Proton front wheel from

http://www.totalcycling.com/index.php/product/WH_PROTON_F.html

At 710g and a reputation for being bullet proof I think they are amazing value for the money (these are end-of-line stock). They have conventional (not straight pull) spokes, so repair shouldn't be difficult either when necessary.

Just ordered one, my Genesis needs a new front wheel.

Cheers!;)

(Now just crossing my fingers that they really have them in stock.)

This ebay shop has Sealskinz membrane style waterproof gloves for £18. They are a previous years model, but perform just the same as their current 2010 models which are £35 everywhere else.
different sizes and lots left still.
Mine just arrived!!!
You can download their handy glove sizer which I used and they fit perfectly http://www.sealskinz.com/glove_measure.pdf

I got a despatch note from Parcel Force today.

Wheel arrived today and looks very nice. Now I'm worried it's too nice for the fixed. :becool:

By the way if anyone's interested it weighs 714g on my scales - just 4g more than claimed. (That's without tape or skewer.)

The scales are shiny and black, which is good enough for me. Actually we have two sets of kitchen scales, maybe I should try the others just for fun.*

*Sense of fun possibly in need of calibration too.
