poundland bargains:

small bike lock perfect for café stops (deterrent to a casual thief, not a determined one) which is small and light enough for a saddle pack

set of led lights (no batteries, but hey)

fluorescent 3m hi viz arm/leg bands

set of very thin spanners which, while probably made of cheese, can be used as cone spanners and ideal for balancing old fashioned front brakes.

Last week, they had the LED reflective ankle bands in again, I've bought another two, good back up rear lighting, and easy to fit round an ankle, a rack, frame tubes etc, and very light and easy to stow in any bag or pocket.

a great bargain as the next cheapest price online is almost twice this (if you don't like the white hoods relacements are fairly cheap). I almost bought these when they were 45% off, glad I waited. Note these are OE so they come unboxed with cables and instuction leaflet.

That looks a good buy. My No 2 bike has a full Tiagra groupset - would this work as a straight swap for the Tiagra triple crank? (albeit with some cog count differences).

It says triple, no possibility of using this in a compact double setup?
