Jut ordered some of those lights too. Only have some little knog lights at the moment.
Rarely go out at night, but it got so overcast and dark yesterday in the rain, I felt quite vulnerable.

Being spot lights they are no good for unlit countryside but OK for city use.

Agreed. I had a Smart 35w and thought it was brilliant until I had to cycle on a dark country road in blackness. It was a real eye opener (bad pun sorry) and I could not even see which direction the road went never mind any pot holes and it was rather scary. Bought a 300 lumen moon meteor as soon as I got home. What a difference.

No, I don't have one and some reviews seem to say it might be a tad thin.

I do have a quality semi-polartec semi normal buff material one (which cost considerably more) and it's amazing how much warmer it makes you feel.

The extra 10 percent at Ribble is good, I could have got my helmet £5 quid cheaper if I had held off a week. Bah, oh well. Picked up some cracking bargains recently. Holding off pressing buy on 8 speed down tube levers for the Ribble and some tyres.

I'm a medium in 'normal' clothes but ordered a XL after one reviewer said he's normally a medium but even a large was a bit snug and the sleeves came up a little short.

Agree I ordered black Large (I also normally take a medium) with just a T-shirt on it was too tight.

But Halfords bless them sent a Fluro not a black so after making a special trip into town to collect am a bit p*ssed off.

Only free return option is to drop off in store - why didn't I just open it while I was there - groan

The Deore LX chain set arrived. Nice and light, shame I've got to order a new BB as the current one is too long. 13mm needed off the current BB. Ordered for £14 from chain reaction, plus spare brake blocks for the fixed.
