I took mine back and after 20 mins of them being nobbers and making it look 1000 times more difficult than it was I asked for a refund - they claimed it was going to cost them £28 to have a new size ordered in for me...I then went home and ordered another jacket from Ribble, which arrived today and is lovely fit. Much more expensive mind...
I ordered large jacket and gillet online but they were too small. Went to halfords in Aberdeen and fully expected full refund. Guy told me to have a look to see if there were any there on rack , he didn't think so, and low and behold they had xl in both. They were priced differently but after 5 mins of faffing I walked out a happy customer.

Got my chain lube today  not got kmc chain though

Probably missed out on the chain as some tool from this site decided to post it on hotukdeals for some "heat" and wrecked it for everyone else - thank the guy who did that - LOL! Prime candidates...

I recommend seeking advice for your £1.60 loss on an Internet Forum and agonising over it for a week or so.
Helpful pal. Got the jacket Tuesday and returned today. Hardly a week is it? I post deals on here, unlike you.

Exactly - they are an awful company to deal with and the staff are utterly clueless. The irony is that the strore I went to was very small and absolutely dead but she had to "ring upstairs" to the bike division and the guy was too fking lazy to walk downstairs and address the problem.

If I had known I wouldn't be able to exchange as their sizing was off I wouldn't have ordered.

You buy something in the sale - you either get an exchange at that price or not at all. I am certain that they are breaking DSRs by not doing that.

You were lucky I guess...

Anyone else received their chain yet? I ordered 2 on Sept 17th and was quoted an estimated delivery date of 11th to 19th October. No sign of them yet and the money's not been taken from my credit card.

Nope-not yet. I don't reckon we will see them.

I never entered for free chain lube. Nearly did, was it a reasonable sized bottle. I'm always sceptical that they're doing these things just to bombard me with junk...I may be wrong

Amazon don't take the money until they dispatch, so nothing unusual there.

My delivery estimate was 10 Oct 2013 - 18 Oct 2013, so it's going to miss that. The cynic in me thinks Amazon are just going to hold onto their stock, in the hope people cancel orders possibly, rather than ship them out at a loss.

....annoyingly, I actually had to buy a chain this week so if they had delivered when estimated, it would have worked out nicely.

Ah well. Win some, lose some.

Edit: Delivery estimate now pushed back to 22 Oct 2013.

For fear of this I have set up a secondary e-mail account- the one I use for competitions/ free samples/ anything where I'm likely to be bombarded with stuff- keeps my proper mail for my own things. Just a thought.
