I'll be disappointed if things are returning to normal. This has been a fun thread.

Looks like they are, although the GB News expert referenced the bullwhip effect on the supply chain which suggests it will take quite a long time for things to fully return to where they were.

and for the most part, proof that we can be trusted to discuss a news and current affairs topic without using it as an excuse to indulge in political debate
Completely non-political.

Except for posts 1, 2, 9, 11, 12, 15 and then I got bored after spotting political comments in over a third of the first page.

But 100% news, which I understood was also being sentenced to forum solitary.

The sticky at the top of this site's NACA board states
Forum Closed - Political debate now moved to CC News and Current Affairs

So it's very clear that political debate has been sent to the new NACA, and that will inevitably include some news (e.g. Labour Party conference); whether all "news" has been sent there too is more of a grey area.

I suspect we are being allowed some latitude to see if we can behave ourselves. I hope we can; personally I have found the quality of discussion in this thread pretty good on the whole, and far far better than the unpleasantness I see in the new NACA.

One of the major drawbacks is that the filling stations are the last ones before the motorway so there will be a constant flow of traffic past them .
We are in Shepherds Bush/Hammersmith. The local filling stations serve the ends of the A40, the M4 and the M3. It's not entirely surprising that the hood is drier than the Atacama Desert at the moment.
