I filled up on Saturday for our trip to Nicola's Country on Tuesday and there was a bit of a queue but not nonsense. This was at Costco near Chester.

Tank holds just over 15 gallons so at 52-53 to the gallon works out circa 800 miles which will get us there and back.

The car then, apart from holidays, sits on the drive 99% of the time.

My Wife put £30 worth of Diesel in so she can get into work, makes no difference to me personally as I commute on the bike full time.

With any luck roads might be a little quieter if anything..

No problems at Hilton Park northbound around midday today.

Not all pumps were busy, but the ones that were in use had a couple of cars queueing behind them, presumably the 'only fill up from the one side' merchants.
