Hard to disagree with this to be honest:

Another World Cup defense looks like it's coming to a sorry end.

Yes things turn on little moments. Having got thru a Moeen over for 3, it should have been case of "that's great get Archer on".

I also think Topley should play, ahead of Jordan or Wood. Jordan's fielding great and his batting is decent but his death bowling isnt what it was, and he's picked as a bowler. Topley left arm over to the left handers gives them more to think about than 3 right arm quicks.

Well done Lyth what a come back 1st Yorkshire player to score 4000 runs in T20 pushing Gale into 2rd place.
Hoping the form holds for when we finally get back to what really matters.

Pakistan made a complete of a hash of that.

Great result for Scotland, especially if run rate comes into things.

Mighty win for the Scots and a big threat to England by really having a go to boost net run rate

Australia will be taking note

He's been ahead of Gale for quite a few years, Gale has about 2300 T20 runs.

Very good chase from Yorks, always in control, you could see how annoys Adam was when he got out, he wanted a ton.

Well, it looks like England have virtually no chance of getting out of the group. Aus v Scotland doesn't take place until Sunday, after we've played our last group game. Sounds like Australia are planning to do what they need to so Scotland go through, even if it's a close game (!!!), so Scotland would qualify on better run rate. We need 2 massive wins to stand even a remote chance. Would the Aussies lose on purpose if it knocked us out? I hope the ICC investigate if it looks dodgy.

Yes we need the Aussies to thrash Scotland, so if Aussies bat 2nd we are doomed as they can sensibly pace their run-chase. Our only hope is if Aus bat first and Scotland have an absolute nightmare, but as Scotland don't have to win, they can bat steadily for "close enough" loss anyway.

Scotland did a proper job on Oman, so hard to see us doing much better there, which means we have to absolutely thrash Namibia to have a hope, give we shipped a big run rate deficit vs aus.

Well it looks like England have a very good chance of getting out the group.Massive win against Oman.Eight wicket win, took 3.1 overs and boosted their run rate.
The only thing is it is still in the hands of the Aussies.Even if we beat Namibia, Australia know that a defeat to Scotland would stop us from qualifying and they would still qualify.

Looks like we're doing all we can, takes a bit of pressure off the Namibia game, a decent win will do, but as you say, it's down to our two old friends Australia and Scotland. If we can have a decent win, we might be okay, I can't see Australia wanting to lose, it's not in their make up.
