Central Heating - on yet?

I haven't had the central heating on tonight...yet, but i have had my small fan heater on.

Just turned it off as i'm off to bed soon(ish). I turned it on about midnight when not just the cool air, but also the damp air feeling got too much for me. Now that i'm getting on in life i refuse to be cold....and damp, just to save a few quid!🧐

Well, it is on today - rotten grey, wet, cold and miserable day in SE Lakes.

Open fire will be going later on this evening as well.

Summer is a past memory here. First leaves are starting to fall in the woods opposite our house too.

What exactly are romper suits? My dad many,many years ago used to talk of me wearing a romper suit as a toddler. I see men wearing those grey marl 'hoodies and trackies' and think "Oh look, he's wearing a romper suit". Am i correct? 🤔
