OMG: this ride is going to be epic!
Had to close the RVSP on the Belles page as we have got 9 (including me) coming from Glasgow, 3 joining at Perth.
Hope the train will take us all

I've had my hospital appointment and it's highly unlikely I'll be going back in before the 3rd, so I can probably be moved off the "maybe" pile and put on the definite list (weather dependant, obviously).

Went today to get ticket, ticket man said only 2 bikes allowed on the one train. I've got 9 of us from Glasgow wanting to come at the the moment.
Will post an update as soon as we solve this conundrum.
Was thinking about scattering the departures, let's see what the other Belles say.
Just as well I'm not one to leave things to the last minute

Afraid so ... still hoping to go away for a long weekend at some point, can't go this w/e as committed to help out with LEL coming to Edinburgh ... which isn't going to be a "holiday" exactly ... haven't had time off work since January apart from the odd day ... and the main summer holiday is still a long way away ... but coming closer now

Is anybody else from CC Ecosse helping with LEL? If I do make it to the Perth ride, I shall have epic tales to tell

Hi Folks

Any chance that you can add another one to this ride!! (I'll take the car as it sounds like the trains are going to be well busy).

I commuted to work to EDB for years - we got loads on bikes on the train on some days during the commute - then I tried getting 4 road bikes on the train on an early weekend morning to go on the Edb to St Andrews ride and had all sorts of trouble!!
