Yes i bought into the delussion and immediately after stage 15 finished i set out to attack my own Mt Ventoux. So with bottle of water and glakit expression i set out to do Crow Rd/ Tak Ma Doon loop in true mountain goat style....NOT!!!!! Death by a thousand pedals more like!
And what's this brisk westerly breeze all about? Believe me it was not cooling nor did it help the climbing!
Anyway can't wait to the flats and cake of Perth

Hi from the wonderful place that is Germany, can't wait to get back on my bike, got a shot of the gf's grandads bike and it was strange using the pavement to get anywhere! No road bikes here at all just town/mountain bikes lol
