Wholly off topic, but I bought one of those Lidl workshop stands yesterday and it's a really solid bit of kit....if you were thinking of it, go for it!! You can stick the bike on it for easy washing, if you're in to that sort of thing, but clearly, don't be so stupid as to try and adjust the rear brake if the clamp of the stand jams the brake cable against the crossbar

The club I'm in aims to restrict groups to max of 14.

Here's an interesting blog on the subject.

Interesting read. I'd go along with this "Don’t ride in groups of more than around 8-10 riders. You’ll get a much better workout that way and it will be safer."
