You may be in luck there GBC. There was a tea loaf recipe in a woman's cycling magazine this month (we get lots of recipes & fashion tips you know!) Is that more like proper cycling fuel?

It's been 2 years since my last Ecosse ride so I'm bloody well coming to this one....
I'm keeping an eye on this, and I may turn up.
I did it last year riding from Stirling and back, however as a couple of you know I spent 3 months in hospital over winter and although I'm much better now I'm only just back cycling, so if I come I'll have to train it or get a cycle carrier for the new car. I do have a hospital appointment between now and then (as I still have to go back in for an Op), but providing I've not gone under the knife this may well be a nice wee day out!

I did a 21 mile ride today in 1:21 (avg speed of 16mph). I'm going to try and do a hilly 40 mile ride next week and, providing I can do it, that should be me good to go for the Perth ride
