Dumpy was looking a bit peaky last Monday. By lunchtime, he was wide-eyed, shaking, and couldn't stand up - his back legs just collapsed. Saddle thrombosis, I thought, and rushed him to the vet. By the time he was triaged he was fine (and very angry with them) and all blood tests and ultrasound scans* were clear, so he left with a clean bill of health. It's a mystery. The weather had been terrible so he hadn't even been out where he could have eaten anything poisonous.

*heart all good - this is a cat that one vet wrote off with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in 2022 - his regular vet says 90% of domestic cats have a thickened heart lining because they're lazy bastards!

Mine never fight on the bed, it is a neutral zone where all transgressions are put aside for the warmth 'Dad' provides.

Ours sprint across the bed at 3am, paws finding delicate parts (or your face) to put weight on.

Our mog went to the vets today for worming etc and a health check up . Vet very happy with the puddy
