No option, it's too far to turn round & go home, all parking, if you can get any is the same, and more expensive
There'll either be a growth in second handsets for this type of thing alone, or there'll be more fines handed out.

Lazy parking systems in use.

I’ve been cashless since I took up cycling.

These places should not be used, if no one books, then they'll soon stop this nonsense, or cease trading, it's entirely in their hands, we are all sleepwalking into this stupidity, had this in Bridlington last weekend, park & ride ticket machine wouldn't accept cards, so they all had queues a mile long with people scratting for change, ended up having to download an app to pay
Can't think I've ever paid cash for theatre tickets. 90% online in advance.

And I hate taking cash out. How do you know how much you'll need ? Far better to pay by card and no coins to lose.

I paid by cash at the booking office to avoid the online booking fee. This only applies to local theatre and cinema tickets.

I was thwarted today.

The mission was to collect the saturday tea on the way home from work. Sushi shop and Burger King. BK went without a hitch. Ordered and paid for online by the missus. Quoted the pickup code and was on my merry way. Sushi shop - grandmother had a gift voucher for eight maki which had to be handed over the counter and the photo she had sent me wasn't 'legal' tender apparently. Wily old bugger had me £8 out of pocket.

Why though ? How does having two phones make it safer ?
How does having a seperate card for the same purpose make it safer?

I haven't used cash since the first lockdown. This is the state of the coins that were in my wallet.

They are also a bit sticky. xx(

Tends not to be the main card, often with only the minimum required on it. But you can't download an app onto a debit card.
I wouldn’t use two phones but I do use two accounts. I’ve not activated the card for my main account for contactless so if I lose it at least the thief can’t use it for that. I have a separate account for contactless and I only ever transfer £50 at a time into that so if I lose the card that’s the most I could lose, the same as losing £50 cash from a wallet.
