Hypothetical question? 😉How does one visit ladies of the night without cash?
Never heard it called that beforeYou could probably still swipe your card.

You might be able to make a donation at a charity shop. They can put it through the till and give you a receipt. However, they will not be able to claim gift aid on this. And then they complain that their income is going down ... well, duh!
If they didn't make it so utterly unpleasant to make a simple one-off donation to them, they might get several from me.
They can't claim gift aid on any donations I make anyway - and that's a good idea, thanks. You might be able to make a donation at a charity shop. They can put it through the till and give you a receipt. However, they will not be able to claim gift aid on this.
An observation from today. I help out behind the bar at our village sports and social club, today was the first time for a couple of months. Throughout the pandemic the bar has been cashless though we've turned a blind eye and served the one or two who arrive with cash.
Today I would estimate 70% of customers were using cash. Something I felt uncomfortable with. It was noticeable the divide by age. All the cash users were mid 60s and older. 100% of the younger people and those over 60 who are still young used contactless.
I wouldn’t want to be handling cash that’s been sat in a warm trouser pocket nestled up against a used hankie or a contaminated face mask. As the saying goes, you don’t know where it’s been.I don't believe that any outbreaks have been linked to contact with the virus off of surfaces and items.
We were really wrong footed to begin with.
I'm much more wary of people sitting indoors chatting.
Asking for a friend.Hypothetical question? 😉

Magnetic strip could be attractiveAsking for a friend.
I think that going contact less would remove the enjoyment from it...
That wasn't really the point. After a very long period of an almost cashless society £s and ps seem to be back.....for some.I don't believe that any outbreaks have been linked to contact with the virus off of surfaces and items.

These places should not be used, if no one books, then they'll soon stop this nonsense, or cease trading, it's entirely in their hands, we are all sleepwalking into this stupidity, had this in Bridlington last weekend, park & ride ticket machine wouldn't accept cards, so they all had queues a mile long with people scratting for change, ended up having to download an app to payThe major theatres (here) are now cashless at their bars and refreshment kiosks. At interval for children's shows there are older citizens who have brought their grandchildren and a few dollars for a treat dismissed by the theatre staff with "sorry we only accept cards". It sucks. These venues are publicly subsidised and should better understand their audience.
You did what they wanted you to do, if you downloaded the app. These places should not be used, if no one books, then they'll soon stop this nonsense, or cease trading, it's entirely in their hands, we are all sleepwalking into this stupidity, had this in Bridlington last weekend, park & ride ticket machine wouldn't accept cards, so they all had queues a mile long with people scratting for change, ended up having to download an app to pay
No option, it's too far to turn round & go home, all parking, if you can get any is the same, and more expensiveYou did what they wanted you to do, if you downloaded the app.
