I went to work in the Kodiaq this morning
On unlocking it, l accidentally dropped the keys
The DiskLok key broke up, it’s 30 years old, so brittle, & has broken before
I think l picked up all the bits that l could see with a torch

I had a spare, so it’s not that much of an issue (2 spares)
BUT… l’d like it to be intact
I tried ‘Gorilla Glue’, but it’s too liquid

What else could l use?
Good old Araldite?

Suggestions please

Get a replacement from Disklok?

Yes, they're avaiable, but as it'll be a spare, I was just going to glue it

OR… use one of the split rings, they’re damned strong once closed (if not twisted)

Also worth cleaning the wiper rubber periodically. That fine grit on a typical windscreen is very abrasive both to the screen and the rubber wipers.

Run a finger along the rubber on a damp day, and one can see the black gritty paste.

I think this is often overlooked.

I keep meaning to put some of that Rain-X on my windows (It needs to be done when the windows have been cleaned thoroughly) as it's great at making the rain just drop off. If it's used on the front screen it can be possible to drive in moderate rain without having to use the wipers!

You do have to keep appointing up, I also use it in the house on the glass showers.

This is true, regular cleaning of the blades on the work van means they're just starting to wear at 96,000 miles

Propshaft mount replacement for me and my daughter on Sunday on the Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo.

A set if racing Polyurethane mounts are 500 euro plus shipping and tax..

A set of good aftermarket ones are £135 (BUT the bearings are fitted wrong way round, easily sorted..)

A tube of 40 shore Polyurethane is £8 and a tube does 1 mount.

Pumped 2 mounts full of Polyurethane and they are setting up ready for Sunday.

Poor man's racing prop mounts lol.

A before and after of what I do, no paint or filler involved, not my best work as I only had 35 minutes to turn it around. This is a really tough part of a Ford Focus and had a 12mm bar bending.
