Today the sun was out and it was nice and warm.
What better time than to give the car a good wash and polish.
After a thorough wash I set off giving it polish and spent ages getting it looking good.
I then put a ceramic coating over it and stood back admiring all my hard work.
With the tyres blacked out ,the interior hoovered and all the dash and trim treated to some polish it was looking very smart indeed
This afternoon I went out for a leisurely drive with the hood down enjoying the warm sun on my bald slaphead.
Whilst cruising down the Costa del Welsh roads acting like Tom Selleck, it so nice to feel the wind in my three strands of hair and enjoying that open top motoring experience.
Good things don't last forever though as they say,
They was some ominous dark clouds around and within a bat of an eye I got caught in a torrential downpour followed by some load claps of thunder.
By the time I found somewhere safe to stop and get the roof up I ended up looking like a drowned rat.
The dry dusty roads had turned to mud and the nice clean interior was covered in water.
By the time I got home the car looked filthy inside and out with it's usual patina of cow muck.
Went from hero to zero in a couple of minutes.
Time for a pint tonight I think 🤣🤣
