They seem to be the first thing that goes baggy on most cars. I think it's speed humps.

That and the deteriorating roads.

Luckily they cost me a pittance due to being in the trade but I still CBA to replace them every six months

Simple job today. Change the serpentine belt on the Galaxy. Front wheel off, arch liner removed. Tensioner moved OK, old belt off OK. Tensioner bearings absolutely shot. So now on stands waiting for SWMBO to pick the new one up tomorrow while I'm at work.
Also a straightforward oil and filter change on the V70R, along with another 3 litre auto'boxoil drop and fill. That's 4 now, and it shifts much better.

Has anyone replaced the "speaker/buzzer" for the (factory fitted) rear parking sensors on a Renault Captur Signature 1.5dci, 2016 (66 Reg) ?

If yes, where is it located?

An ‘evening’ of masking up new brake discs: ready to get a couple of coats of Smoothrite paint on the bells tomorrow and before fitting. Do it properly - do it once and all that.

I’m so freakin’ Rock-n-roll on Friday nights 🤦‍♂️

Having had our first ever (known) mouse problem in a car. I decided to look for possible access areas. I came across this

The ventilation inlet ( prepared for screen)

It seems like this design is very common, open hole beneath the scuttle panel where the wiper motor resides.

Now has stainless steel screen bonding with outdoor 'Sticks like' adhesive. I shall reassemble in a few hours when it's cured

I've done exactly that in my gutters to stop rats getting out the drainpipe, onto the gutters and into my loft.
