I went well but didn't realise I was going that well!!
Still 25secs off pb but I don't feel I was flying all the way around.

Jo was running so I volunteered with the boys, handing out tokens and scanning. Jo came fifth overall (second woman) with a new PB of 21:46.

Yeah, it’s a small and friendly and not particularly fast one. Usually just over 100 runners, often (as this morning) nobody breaks 20 minutes.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a late season marathon?

As mentioned above, I've got other objectives this summer but wouldn't mind cashing in on my fitness to attempt a decent new PB in the marathon later this year.

Ideally August or later, a fairly fast, flat course and somewhere within reasonable distance of North East England.
