Well it wouldn't be much of a joke if there were only seven sisters on the Eight Sisters platform.

My brain went along the line that the sign seems to say 'even sisters' and there are 4 sisters in front of it. (ignore the non conspicuous fifth sitting behind the standing one.)

Then a separate group of three, a classic odd number.
