Roller towels are actually more hygienic than paper towels or air driers. I use to work for a washroom company. There is a roller for the clean towel and separate one below that the dirty "end" wraps onto. never the twain shall meet.

What about the "upgraded" ones where there's a two foot band of towel which just goes back up to the too roller? They're much cheaper to run
