This is sadly true. Plans to export Diane Abbott were shelved when the ferry contract went south.

Not many ha-ha moments but lots of very subtle easter eggs and callbacks - lovely stuff.
Medieval history with Alan Partridge needs to be commissioned now.

Alan remains an irredeemably awful person but you can't help rooting for him when others try to upstage him.
Needless to say, he had the last laugh.
